About me

I specialize in evaluating the impact of health technologies & medications and translating research into building effective tools and processes.

Originally trained as an infectious disease epidemiologist, I've worked in Google's deep learning lab and at IQVIA's Center for Advanced Evidence Generation. I work at the intersection of health and technology, often facilitating partnerships between the two communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was part of the multidisciplinary team that created the Apple/Google Exposure Notifications API.

With over 14 years of scientific experience, I’ve worked extensively in medication safety & efficacy, AI/large language models/deep learning, pandemic response and preparedness, study design, causal inference methods, and biostatistics.
